Guiding – I am happy to – and licensed to – serve as your tour guide throughout Israel.  Day tours are also possibilities. 1-day tours for those arriving with cruises to Ashdod and Haifa can be arranged for you with various options depending on the size of your party.  The more you plan ahead, the more likely I am to be available. Tours are conducted in English or Hebrew though I am also conversational in Spanish. If I am not available to guide, I can still help you with all aspects of planning your trip (see below) as well as finding you an excellent guide that I can personally recommend to guide in my stead.

Tour planning – I will work with you to put together a personalized itinerary to best fit you and your family/traveling companions traveling style, goals, interests, timing and budget.  Many tour companies have a cookie-cutter approach to Israel trips – it is a lot easier on them. I want to hear from you what your interests are, what things you like to do and what you hope to get out of the experience.  One could spend several months traveling around Israel and not exhaust the opportunities here. Of course, the more I know about you, the better I can personalize your experience here, but no matter what your interests are: peace and politics, religion, history/archaeology, nightlife, food & wine, adventure sports, hiking, fun for the whole family, etc., you can experience it here in Israel and I will help make it happen.  I will give you a number of options to choose from each day so that you can have ownership of the itinerary - it’s your trip after all! I am here to make it as meaningful, memorable and enjoyable as possible!

Accommodation – Via my agent here, I can generally arrange hotels for you that fit your style and budget for similar or better prices than you can find online - and without having to do any of the work yourselves!  Sometimes he can even get discounted rooms for guides and drivers.  If you would like to do AirBnB or VRBO, I have a few recommendations for that and can make sure that you pick good locations.

Transportation – Car/van rentals if you would like to drive can be arranged at prices more attractive than the big American companies provide – this is actually your most cost effective option for seeing Israel.  For larger groups I can order drivers with 17-20 passenger vans to take larger groups around and of course buses for 30-60 people. If you would like a guide to drive your small party around that can be arranged as well.

Flights – Flights to Eilat can be arranged for those who would like to enjoy our Sin/Sun City in the desert, whether for the nightlife, scuba diving and snorkeling in the Red Sea or as a gateway to Jordan/Petra.

Jordan/Petra – Trips to Jordan (1-3 days) with a reliable company offering the most competitive rates can be arranged.  Trips can include pickup and return to your hotel in Eilat. These can be group tours with set itineraries (Petra, Wadi Rum, etc.) or for an extra fee you can have a private guide and set your own itinerary.

Bar/Bat Mitzvahs – Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremonies with/without Torah reading and with/without a rabbi can be put together.  Common sites are Masada and Jerusalem. In Jerusalem this can include a procession with shofars, drums and musicians accompanying your adult-to-be to and/or from the ceremony.   Tallit and tefillin can be purchased here in Israel for the new Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

Renewing Vows – If you would like to renew your vows while on tour at a synagogue or church (perhaps the Cana Wedding Church), whether privately or publicly, low-key or fancy this can be set up.

Photographer/Videographer – If you would like to hire a professional photographer and/or videographer for a day or for an event I have people that I work with and highly recommend and can arrange for you.

Christian Mass/Prayers – If you would like to take part in mass or prayers while in Israel – for any denomination – this can be arranged (many different languages of prayer are available).

SIM Cards, Phones and USB Modems – All of this can be arranged for you to have a cellphone and internet access throughout your trip.  You can either purchase this in advance or at a shop at the airport upon arrival.

Babysitting Service – If you would like to hire an English-speaking babysitter in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv so that you can enjoy a day or an evening out or perhaps to come to watch the little ones during a family event so that you can participate fully, I can put you in touch with an excellent service.
