There is so much happening this week when it comes to Israel. Here is your experience Israel online update, courtesy of your tour guide of Israel:
1) The Israel Festival is being re-run online this week between September 15-17.
Check out performances by the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, various Israeli musicians including Eurovision winner Netta Barzilai, jazz performances, performance art and dance performances by the great Israeli troupe Vertigo. All the information is available here:
2) Israeli chef Michael Solomonov, who won the James Beard Award as the best chef in the United States - and whose restaurant Zahav in Philadelphia won for best restaurant in the United States - is hosting a Rosh HaShana cooking demonstration tomorrow night (Monday, September 14). Sign up ASAP in order to get the recipes and a spot.
3) Mark your calendars for the Jerusalem Post Annual Conference which is happening on September 24 at 7PM Israel time (12PM Eastern Time). It's an incredible lineup of Israeli and Jewish leaders from Israel's President Reuven Rivlin and Alternate Prime Minister and Defense Minister Benny Gantz, Israel's Foreign, Intelligence and Environment Ministers and Leader of the Opposition, Ambassadors, presidents of major Jewish organizations, plus a dear friend of mine, the Head of Public Policy for Facebook Israel and the Jewish Diaspora, Jordana Cutler. The conference will focus on the the following:

4) Recently the Chief Rabbi of South Africa, Warren Goldstein, has continued his conversations with important Jewish leaders. Here are two of his most recent ones. The first is with Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks, the former Chief Rabbi of the UK, and who I consider to be the foremost Jewish ethicist and educator of
our time. The second one is with noted historian and former Israeli Ambassador to the United States Michael Oren as well as Israel's former Israeli Ambassador to the UN Dore Gold about the Abraham Accord, Israel's peace deal with the UAE (since the talk Bahrain has agreed to sign a deal with Israel as well).
