This week's Torah portion is Parshat Noach, when we tell the story of Noah, the ark and the flood. According to the story, God promises never to destroy the world again by means of a flood and gives us the rainbow as a reminder of that promise. As such, some Jews today are taking the opportunity to make rainbow challah for their Shabbat tables.
