Christian Pilgrimage Tours
Check out this video to see what a Christian pilgrimage tour to the Holy Land can look like
Welcome to the land where it all happened, the plot of the “Greatest Story Ever Told.” Join me as we follow in the footsteps of all the main characters – or just ones that pique your particular interest – throughout the Holy Land. Hopefully as an observant Jew - whose biological father happens to be a Protestant minister and step-mother a Catholic theologian - I will be able to add a unique take on the story of Jesus whether solo or as a complement to your religious leader (for group tours) in order to help you grow in your faith and understand the place, times and context from which it began.

IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF JESUS
Get ready to explore the life and times of Jesus from his birthplace in Bethlehem to the spot of his ascension on the Mount of Olives and all the sites in between: Nazareth, The Temple in Jerusalem, the Jordan River and the place of Jesus’ baptism, Jericho and the Mt. of Temptation, Caperneum, The Wedding Church at Cana, Mt. of Beatitudes for the Sermon on the Mount, Kursi, Tabgha, the site of the Transfiguration, the Pools of Bethesda and the Siloam Pool, the Room of the Last Supper, the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, the House of Caiaphas, the Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre/Garden Tomb and Emmaus.

IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF JOHN THE BAPTIST
From Ein Karem and the birth of John the Baptist we’ll head out to the former Essene community of Qumran (place where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found), and see the spot of his baptizing of Jesus in the Jordan River.

IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF MARY
See the story of Mary come alive from the location of her birth in Jerusalem to her burial tomb just a stone’s throw away and all the places in between: Tzippori, Nazareth, Ein Karem (Church of the Visitation), Bethlehem and Mt. Zion (Dormition Abbey).

IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF PETER
We begin Peter's story on the shores of the Kinneret where Jesus first met him and will explore together Caperneum, Caesarea Philippi (Banyas), where Peter denies Jesus 3 times, Tabgha, Jaffa and Caesarea as well as all the sites in between.

IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF PAUL
We will encounter Paul in Jerusalem, along the road to Damascus where he had his revelation and in Caesarea where he was imprisoned and tried before being sent to Rome.

IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF KING HEROD
From his home town of Maresha to the battles that made him king at Arbel, Herodion and Masada, it seems that there is not a landscap in Israel untouched by King Herod. We can see his palaces in Jerusalem and Jericho, his great building projects at Caesarea and Hebron and of course the Temple in Jerusalem. Finally, from his family tomb in Jerusalem to his own in Herodion, we will get a sense of just who was this mad king and why was he out to kill the baby Jesus.

IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE HEBREW BIBLE
From the forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (and the four mothers Sarah, Rebecca, Leah and Rachel) to the leaders Moses and Joshua, the judges Deborah, Samson and Samuel, the kings Saul, David and Solomon and the prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah, just to name a few, this is the land of the Bible and we can walk Bible in hand and watch all the stories come to life.

INTERACTIVE SITES
There are numerous experiential activities here including Nazareth Village, where the times of Jesus come to life, boat rides and swimming in the “Sea of Galilee,” baptisms in the Jordan River, exploring the flora and fauna of the land at Neot Kedumim, the biblical landscape reserve, the Galilee Experience, wineries and just walking the Bible are all available to you.

OTHER IMPORTANT SITES
There are many other related sites such as the Inn of the Good Samaritan, Kibbutz Ginossar – home of “The Jesus Boat” and Megiddo, perhaps the location of “Armageddon," which we can include on our tour.
